Pre-launch
Marketplace Launch Blueprint
Know whether the delivery concept can actually make money before you launch. Most operators go live on Uber Eats, Deliveroo or Just Eat and find out afterwards whether the numbers work. We build the commercial model first.
If you launch, trade for at least 30 days and commission the £995 Deep Audit within 90 days of launch, the £495 Blueprint fee is credited in full against it. You do not pay twice for the diagnostic work. It is a credit against the Deep Audit fee, not a refund or an automatic payment.
“Can this concept make money on delivery, and what has to be true for it to work?”
Start your BlueprintWhat you get
Launch viability, two ways
A verdict on the delivery channel on its own, and on the fully-loaded site.
Unit economics model
Contribution per order built from your stated assumptions, not ours.
VAT and revenue basis stated
Whether your AOV is gross or net, and the VAT treatment used — shown, never guessed.
Menu & pricing architecture
How the menu and price points need to be structured to hold margin.
Platform & commission assumptions
Commission, promotions and ad allowances modelled explicitly.
Target AOV & contribution margin
The order value and margin the model has to reach.
Break-even
Incremental and fully-loaded break-even orders per day, and orders per trading hour.
Scenarios & sensitivity
Conservative, target and stretch cases, plus what AOV, food cost and commission each do.
Packaging & food cost
Stated cost assumptions per order, flagged where unknown.
Operating capacity & prep
Throughput and prep assumptions the kitchen has to support.
Menu & range structure
The range, structure and portioning the model assumes, and why.
Pricing & promotional assumptions
The price points and promotional funding the model depends on, stated openly.
Platform launch plan
A prioritised commercial launch plan for the first weeks. This is the commercial plan — platform setup, account onboarding and campaign management are not included.
Written report + walkthrough call
A written Blueprint document, plus a call to talk through the verdict and the assumptions behind it.
What is not included at £495
The Blueprint is a commercial modelling engagement. It deliberately does not include:
- Brand identity, naming or design work
- Photography or content production
- Platform onboarding or account setup
- Advertising or campaign management
- Implementation, staffing or kitchen fit-out
- Ongoing performance management or monitoring
Sometimes the answer is no.
If the model shows the concept cannot hold margin at a realistic order volume, we say so plainly and explain what would have to change for it to work. A clear no before launch is worth considerably more than an optimistic yes.
You can see the method we use on the illustrative worked example.
Already trading? The Deep Audit is the right product.
The Blueprint models a concept that has no meaningful delivery data yet. The £995 Deep Audit is for businesses with real trading data, and analyses what actually happened rather than what is assumed.

DIYWAY is a marketplace intelligence and commercial advisory business for restaurants, dark kitchens and delivery operators.
We focus on the commercial mechanics behind marketplace performance: unit economics, contribution margin, pricing, promotions, advertising efficiency, menu structure and operational capacity.
The Marketplace Launch Blueprint applies those disciplines before launch, so decisions are based on commercial evidence rather than assumptions.
